BLACK MEN & BOYS CENTERED:
We unapologetically advocate for the intrinsic value of Black men & boys, implementing culturally competent interventions and mentoring programs that address their specific needs effectively, respectfully, and supportively.

ENGAGEMENT:
​AVV aims to actively engage Black men and boys in discussions and activities focused on self-image and emotional intelligence, fostering a community-wide commitment to preventing and addressing violence.

EDUCATE:
AVV educates the community on the intersection of domestic, family and street violence, emphasizing the importance of self-image, community support, and emotional management as essential tools for violence prevention, healing and support.

EMPOWERMENT:
Through a model centered around individual responsibility and community support, AVV empowers Black men & boys to take charge of their wellness, fostering proactive approaches to combat violence and build resilience in facing life's challenges.

COLLABORATION:
We create opportunities for Black men, entrepreneurs, organizations, agencies, individuals of influence to incorporate and embed violence prevention activities into existing focus, programs, events, outreach and provide financial incentives when necessary.
